WEBReporters Without Borders (RWB) is an international non-profit organisation governed by principles of democratic governance. We are neither a trade union nor a representative of media companies. Founded in 1985 in Montpellier by four journalists, RSF is at the forefront of the defence and promotion of freedom of information.

Singapore suspends independent website, threatens it with closure
WEB15.09.2021. A Singaporean news website, The Online Citizen (TOC), is being made to pay for its independence, Reporters Without Borders (RSF) says. Two weeks after being ordered to pay the city state’s prime minister massive damages in a defamation suit, it is now threatened with imminent closure for allegedly violating media funding legislation.
