Wonderful trip organised by the fabulous Peter Cox. We left early to avoid the crowds which meant seeing the most fish. We were lucky enough to snorkeling with a turtle in the Reef. Then went on to …Full review by CottonKing1

Buccoo reef lagoon tours are many and varied so choose one to suit. There are large tourist boats with loud island music, d j, and rum cocktails. On the opposite side are quiet smaller cruises, some …Full review by Suzanne H

The reef is far from the best I have seen. Its was difficult to see from the glass bottom boat we were on with all customers fighting for a better view. Taking photos was almost an impossibility and …Full review by andycoldham

I'm visiting family in Trinidad the last weekend of October. I will have my 1 year old son with me. Would I be able to take him on the tour without a car seat? I do have a life jacket for him for the boat. I would like to know before we buy tickets and get excited if we won't be able to go on the tour. We are interested in the highlights tour and boat tour. Thank you!

You won't need a car seat on the Cool Runnings boat that my wife and I went on in December. If you want to snorkel then obviously someone will need to stay with your son. The trip that we were on also visited the Nylon Pool, which is nothing more than a shallow bank just past the reef, and families did take their young children off of the boat there for a short while.

Hi, I'm planning to visit Buccoo Reef and the Nylon Pool on a cruise stop. Any tips? I thought I'd take a taxi to Pigeon Point and find a tour there, but there is also a cruise excursion option for $65 (round trip from cruise port, glass bottom boat tour of reef and pool). I wonder what time tour operators start and if they will all be booked with the ship in port. Hoping to beat the crowd but that may not be an option if the tours don't start at 8am. Thanks

Hey Frida_Cu! There are tour operators right outside of the park and there are tours that leave from Store Bay. All the tours that I saw seem to have two times. One usually around 9 or 10 am and a second tour around 2pm. The cost is 100TT/ person for the tour and 20TT/ person to get into Pigeon point. A taxi would be your best bet. The tour it's self it pretty short cause the reef and the nylon pool are right beside each other. Just depends how long the tour operator gives you at each place. Hope that helps!
