A lawyer for a worker charged with helping 10 men escape a New Orleans jail says the worker did not know about the jailbreak plan.

It's been nearly a week since 10 inmates escaped in a jailbreak in New Orleans, and while five are now in custody, five are still on the run.

Weeden faces one felony count of accessory after the fact, which carries the possibility of a fine up $500 and up to five years in prison, according to the state police release.
