Louisville Metro Police gave an update on the fatal shooting of Austin Schepers, the man accused of shooting an Orange County, Indiana deputy sheriff Friday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The man accused of shooting and critically injuring a southern Indiana sheriff's deputy has been killed in Louisville following a two-day manhunt.

Indiana State Police said Austin Schepers, 33, shot Orange County Sheriff's Deputy Zach Andry during a traffic stop on Highway 150 near West Baden on Friday at 12:30 a.m.
