Newcastle United's pursuit of Brentford star Yoane Wissa has been dealt a blow, according to a recent report. The Magpies have been rumoured to be keen on securing Wissa's services this summer as they aim to bolster their attacking line-up, especially in light of Callum Wilson's exit and the uncertainty surrounding Alexander Isak's future.
Brentford have already added one new attacker in Dango Ouattara, who joined from Bournemouth for a club-record £42.5m fee. The Burkina Faso international can play on either side or as a number nine and is viewed as a replacement for Bryan Mbeumo.
