Caleb Williams threw a touchdown pass and scrambled for a go-ahead score in the fourth quarter, helping the Chicago Bears beat Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants 24-20.

The Bears were coming off a 47-point game — their most since 2018 — a week before in Cincinnati. They’d piled up 576 yards — their high since 1980, if you can believe it — against a criminally inept Bengals defense. They’d done all that and come within a whisker of losing anyway, because nothing in Beardom can ever be easy.

The New York Giants collapsed again, falling to the Chicago Bears, 24-20, to set a franchise-record with 11 straight road losses.
