Coldplay, Tech and Kiss Cam

Chris Martin, why does Coldplay have a "kiss cam," anyway? I'm not sure I want to know about what happened between two adults outside Boston.
But Men's Journal confirmed the statement was fake after sending a media inquiry the day the kiss cam video surfaced, July 17, 2025. "This is not a real statement," the company's Taylor Jones responded to the inquiry. Another fake "statement," appearing to come from Astronomer's own X account, was debunked by former CEO Ry Walker.
The internet has identified the man as Andy Byron, the CEO of tech start-up Astronomer, and it has been widely alleged that the woman he’s with is Kristin Cabot, Astronomer’s head of HR. (Their faces seem to match the photos on the company’s “About Us” page .)
A video appearing to show Astronomer's CEO and his head of HR embracing at a Coldplay concert spread around social media at the speed of sound.

After being caught on camera, Byron ducked to the ground, and Cabot turned and hid her face. Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin then jokingly said to the crowd, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.” (Per Newsweek)
British rock band Coldplay may have inadvertently revealed an alleged affair between Andy Byron and the human resources head of his New York-based AI firm Astronomer. Last July 15, Coldplay was in Foxborough's Gillette Stadium for the Boston leg of its sprawling "Music of the Spheres" world tour.
