Two men who allegedly robbed a Concord credit union on Monday and led police on a chase to San Jose, where one of the suspects was shot, have been charged with multiple crimes.

CONCORD — Contra Costa County prosecutors have charged two men with multiple counts of armed robbery, carjacking and weapons charges following a miles-long chase Monday that led to a police shooting in San Jose, according to authorities and court records.

SAN JOSE – Concord police officers shot and injured an armed bank robbery suspect Monday morning in San Jose after a multicounty pursuit, police said. The incident kicked off shortly before 10 a.m., when a pair of armed suspects robbed a Concord credit union, the Concord Police Department said in a news release.
