Former Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte has won the mayoral race in Davao City on May 13. According to Reuters, was re-elected mayor after recording a landslide victory over his opponent.

Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte was almost certain to be elected mayor of his home city by a landslide, unimpeded by his detention at the International Criminal Court on charges of murder as a crime against humanity.
