Swiatek, who qualified for the WTA Finals with the win, has yet to drop a set in Cincinnati and is one victory away from her 11th career WTA 1000 title.

Third-ranked Iga Swiatek captured the Cincinnati Open title by defeating No. 7 Jasmine Paolini 7-5, 6-4 on Monday night.

"That was a tough match. At the beginning the level was pretty crazy, we played so fast that sometimes we couldn't even run to the second ball," Swiatek said during her on-court interview.
