Kay Adams of 'Up and Adams' has urged the Minnesota Vikings to sign former Green Bay Packers cornerback, Jaire Alexander, after his release.

The NFC North Division rival Green Bay Packers parted ways with cornerback Jaire Alexander on Monday, June 9, two years into the two-time Pro Bowler's $84 million contract. When Alexander signed that deal in May 2022, it made him the richest cornerback in NFL history at the time.

Maybe they could end up being teammates in 2025. The projected Vikings’ starters on the outside are Isaiah Rodgers, Jr. and Mekhi Blackmon. Byron Murphy Jr. is the starting slot corner. Alexander, when healthy, is better than any of them.

PFF listed six potential teams that Alexander could draw interest from, but the Chargers aren't listed. Trevor Sikkema named the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers and the rival Las Vegas Raiders as potential destinations for the former Pro Bowler.

The cornerback position for the Minnesota Vikings has been discussed by many as one that needs upgrades in a bad way.Right now, the Vikings do have a CB1 in the building with Byron Murphy Jr., whom they gave a hefty extension after two really good years with the franchise.

The Vikings have one of the deepest tight-end rooms in the NFL with T.J. Hockenson and Oliver landing on the Pro Football Focus (PFF) top 32 tight end rankings.

Maybe the Vikings will end up pursuing Jalen Ramsey or Jaire Alexander. But they also might be just fine with their current group of corners.
