Longtime NFL executive Brian Rolapp has been introduced as the PGA Tour’s first CEO, while Commissioner Jay Monahan announces he's stepping down next year.
PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan will resign from his position in 2026 and will be replaced by new CEO Brian Rolapp, who previously spent two decades as an NFL executive, the tour announced Tuesday.
The Rocket Classic is entering its seventh year, and the title sponsor is under contract through 2026 with an option for 2027. Beyond that, the future of the tournament is unclear.
Golf’s leadership change continues with a new PGA Tour boss, Brian Rolapp, who came to the sport from the NFL.
