According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sam Elliott is joining Billy Bob Thornton in season 2 of Taylor Sheridan's hit Paramount oil drama. Though Elliott's official role remains under wraps, the two stars previously worked together on the 1993 film Tombstone and on Sheridan's Yellowstone prequel,

The second season also stars Billy Bob Thornton (who received a Golden Globe nomination for his performance during the first season), Demi Moore ( who has an elevated role in season two), Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore.
