On Monday night, Connecticut's Fairfield squad kept its Little League World Series dream alive by defeating Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Connecticut's offense scored 10 runs in the sixth inning on Monday night to put the finishing touches on a 13-1 victory over South Dakota.

They might have been the underdog when they got to Williamsport; but after winning their first three games the way they did, the other teams still standing know that if they take the field against Fairfield, they’re going to have their hands full. The last Connecticut team to make it to the United States Championship was Westport in 2013.

The kids from Fairfield have done it again, advancing in the Little League World Series, beating South Dakota Monday night 13-1. The community came out to support the team at a watch party in Bridgeport.
