Matthew Stafford practiced with the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, marking the quarterback’s first workout with the team this preseason after having been unable to do so because of a sore back.

Matthew Stafford participated in a preseason practice for the first time Monday after dealing with an aggravated disk in his back, multiple outlets reported.

McVay did not provide a plan for whether or not Stafford would practice the rest of the week as the Rams wait to see how his back responds to Monday’s workout.
