The Walter Cup is staying in Minnesota and the defending champion Frost once again have Liz Schepers to credit for scoring the championship-clinching goal for a second straight year.

The Frost won the PWHL’s inaugural Walter Cup last season and are 3-0 in playoff series so far.

The game was yet another high-stakes goalie battle between Minnesota’s Maddie Rooney and Ottawa rookie Gwyneth Philips, who combined for 64 saves heading into the final frame.
