Time is running out for someone in New York to claim a $1 million Mega Millions prize. The New York Lottery announced Friday that a second-prize ticket sold in Valley Stream will expire next month if the winner doesn’t come forward.
Mega Millions has gained its second-biggest jackpot in 2025 after no one won during Tuesday night’s drawing. The jackpot is up to $843 million, with a cash option of $391.7
The second prizewinning ticket, sold at Cold Cut Express on Dubois Avenue in Valley Stream, will expire on Dec. 13, according to the New York Lottery.
