The Paul Thomas Anderson-directed “ One Battle After Another ” has won the Golden Globe for best motion picture, musical or comedy. The victory cements the film’s front-runner status heading into the Oscars after taking the Critics Choice Award earlier this month and picking up top prizes from groups like the National Board of Review in December.

While One Battle After Another may be chiefly known as Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest movie, another Leonardo DiCaprio-led vehicle and even one of the best movies of 2025, it’s also notable for being actress Chase Infiniti’s film debut.

The Paul Thomas Anderson film was shot in El Paso for 18 days between May and June 2024 and contributed nearly $6 million in direct spending.
