Oscar Mayer's Wienermobiles race in the inaugural "Wienie 500" at Indianapolis 500's Carb Day. All six vehicles will compete, each representing a regional hot dog.

Oscar Mayer’s iconic Wienermobile fleet will be “hot dogging” it later this week at the inaugural "Wienie 500.”

This first-ever “meat-up” of these wieners-on-wheels will take place on Friday, May 23 ahead of the actual Indy 500, and will be streamed live on social media and then with highlights presented on the pre-race show on Sunday. They’ll also be part of the 500 Festival Parade that takes place on Saturday.

The "Wienie 500" will see six of the hot-dog-shaped promotional vehicles race on the famous oval, each one representing a regional U.S. hot-dog style.

As a part of Oscar Mayer’s hot dogs becoming the ‘Official Hot Dog’ of the Indy 500, the six Wienermobiles will represent different hot dogs from various regions of the US.
