Star actor Denzel Washington, a two-time Oscar winner, said he's "not that interested" in winning Academy Awards during a media interview for his upcoming movie, "Highest 2 Lowest," released in theatres Aug.

Washington added in a new interview that "man gives the award, God gives the reward," and that awards won't do him any good when he dies.

"I've been at this a long time," Washington said, "and there's times when I've won, shouldn't have won, didn't win, should have won."
