For the second game in a row, the PWHL Finals saw overtime. However, thanks to a couple of goals from Britta Curl-Salemme, the Minnesota Frost were able to come away with a 2-1 win this time, evening the series at a game apiece.

Katy Knoll played the triple-overtime hero for the Minnesota Frost, scoring 9 minutes, 57 seconds into the third extra session for a 2-1 victory over the Ottawa Charge in Game 3 of the PWHL Finals on Saturday at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Ottawa’s penalty kill, however, has been very strong in the playoffs, which has kept the special teams battle in the finals (just 1-0 for Minnesota with Britta Curl-Salemme’s late power-play goal in Game 2) more even than it could be.
