Just what sparked the deadly and devastating Palisades Fire? Some residents believe the fire may have started nearly a week earlier and then reignited.

Authorities are looking to see if the deadly Palisades Fire and a different fire that took place on New Year's Day were connected as both incidents broke out near the same area.

Photos show both fires broke out in the same area and experts said it’s plausible the earlier fire could have led to another fire six days later.
