Pierpaolo Piccioli is the new creative director of the iconic fashion house Balenciaga. Parent company Kering announced Monday that he replaces Demna.

The seasoned Italian designer starts on July 10 and is to present his first designs in October during Paris Fashion Week.

The game of musical chairs among creative directors isn't over just yet. The latest change stirring the fashion world is Pierpaolo Piccioli taking the creative director position at Balenciaga, following Demna's surprising departure to lead Gucci.
