Thursday is a First Alert Weather Day due to the threat of widespread heavy rain and strong to severe storms. Scattered showers are expected to develop in the western counties around sunrise and will move eastward throughout the morning.

After a white Christmas for many, the weather will continue to cooperate as we head into the weekend that is foretelling a warming trend.

Today still looks a tad cloudy and cool with temps below average this afternoon. Grab the jackets, but it shouldn’t be a bad day weather-wise (it just won’t be super sunny and warm!). Onshore winds continue as well with a high rip current risk at the beach.
