Juniper Fire initially started today at 11:28 a.m. in Riverside County, California. Since its discovery nine hours ago, it has burned 689 acres. By Monday evening, a fire crew of 183 succeeded in containing 30% of the fire. However, the cause is still under investigation.

The Wolf Fire broke out near Banning, Riverside County, on Sunday, prompting a mandatory evacuation order and an evacuation warning for the area.
