Nvidia has announced GeForce RTX 5050 GPUs for both desktops and laptops with support for ray tracing and DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation.

The 8GB of GDDR6 is the same amount of memory Nvidia built into the RTX 3050. Another compromise is that the RTX 5050 features fewer CUDA cores at only 2,560, down from the 3,840

Priced at $249, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 will be available in late July. A mobile variant of the RTX 5050 is also being launched today in laptops starting at $999.
