Shari Franke, the eldest daughter of Ruby Franke, a once-popular family vlogger who was convicted of child abuse, opened up about whether she could ever forgive her mother.

Hulu has greenlit the three-part true crime documentary series, "Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke."

Shari Franke, the oldest daughter of YouTube family vlogger and convicted child abuser Ruby Franke, revealed what it was like growing up with an abusive parent in a disturbing memoir which hit shelves Tuesday (January 7).

Both Ruby Franke and Hildebrandt pleaded guilty to four counts of child abuse in 2023 against two of Ruby Franke's children, but not Shari Franke. Both Ruby Franke and Hildebrandt were sentenced to four consecutive sentences of one to 15 years in prison.

Ruby Franke's daughter, Shari Franke, remembers her last conversation with her mother before she was charged with child abuse her new memoir, "The House of My Mother."

Ruby Franke rose to fame while documenting her family's daily life on her YouTube channel in 2015, some of it controversial. After facing backlash for some of her parenting choices, Ruby stopped her "8 Passengers" channel and went on to launch ConneXions with mentor Jodi Hildebrant in 2022.
