Flooding in Nigeria's Niger State this week has killed 151 people and forced several thousand from their homes, an emergency official told Reuters on Saturday.

The Supreme Court on Friday stayed a lower court order that blocked the Trump administration from deporting roughly 500,000 migrants from Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.

Lawyers for the migrants said half a million people lawfully in the country will become subject to deportation, in what it called the "largest mass illegalization event in modern American history."
