The Maui community is mourning the loss of Officer Suzanne O, a five-year veteran of the Maui Police Department, who was shot and killed while responding to a call in Paia.

Officials have issued responses to the fatal shooting on the night of, Aug. 15, of the Maui police officer in Paia.
