Detroit’s front office and Skubal are far apart in negotiations, as he rejected a four-year offer for less than $100 million last offseason, per The Detroit Free Press. Unless the Tigers at least quadruple the value of that offer sometime over the next year, then it’s unlikely that they’ll re-sign the California native.
