The streamer made the announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter), telling followers "The Night Agent returns for Season 2 on 23 January!" along with a teaser clip of the new season.

Agent Season 2 returns to Netflix on January 23, 2025, continuing Peters journey as a Night Agent in a world of danger and trust issues. Featuring an exciting new cast alongside Gabriel Basso, this action-packed thriller promises high-stakes drama and intrigue.

The way it all comes together is “sick in the best way possible,” says Amanda Warren, who joins as Peter’s new boss Catherine in Season 2. “It’s really, really exciting how they’ve been able to layer everything into this one season, but still have the same kind of nucleus in focus, if you will.”
