The Seattle Mariners are shopping Dylan Moore amid their reported pursuit of Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suárez, The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reported on Friday.

Philadelphia's interest in the slugger appears to have come out of nowhere, with the rib injury to Alec Bohm causing Dombrowski and his front office to take a deeper look at trading for someone who would bring real pop to this lineup and lengthen the order.

The third baseman is tied with Schwarber for second in the National League with 36 home runs. It wouldn’t be the cleanest fit, but trading for Suárez could fill a need with Alec Bohm out.

Suarez, on the back of an All-Star selection, is one of the hottest names on the market. With an eye-catching 36 home runs, good for second place in the National League, and 87 RBI, a bountiful number of MLB contenders are fighting for his services.
