Trey McBride became the 10th tight end in NFL history to have 100 catches in a season and had one of the best games of his three-year career Saturday night for the Arizona Cardinals.

The drought is over! Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride finally has a receiving touchdown in 2024. After failing to find the end zone through the air across the first 16 weeks of the season, the third-year pro snapped his touchdown-less streak in the third quarter of Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

McBride also deserves credit for his labor as a run blocker, helping to seal up the edge for running back James Conner on stretch-run concepts. It’s McBride’s physicality and agility that make him a very apparent force in the dynamic Cardinals offense.
