British number ones Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper will face each other in this week's new-look US Open mixed doubles event in New York.
British No. 1s Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu will take to the court at the US Open on Tuesday as the revamped mixed doubles tournament begins. But they’ll be on opposite sides of the net, as Draper has joined forces with world No. 4 Jessica Pegula, while Raducanu has formed a blockbuster partnership with five-time Major winner Carlos Alcaraz.
The winner of the opening clash between Raducanu-Alcaraz and Draper-Pegula could face Djokovic and his partner Olga Danilovic in the next round, if the Serbian pair manage to beat Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev.
The draw for the men’s and women’s singles will take place on Thursday 21 August. The start time of the draw has yet to have been confirmed but the ceremony usually takes place at around 5pm BST. It will be available to watch live on the US Open website.
