Wayne Gretzky was in the Dallas Stars locker room congratulating them after they advanced to their third consecutive Western Conference final, where they will face the franchise with which “The Great One” was a four-time Stanley Cup champion.

Wayne Gretzky stopped by the locker room after the Dallas Stars’ 2-1 overtime win against the Winnipeg Jets in Game 6 of the Western Conference Second Round at American Airlines Center on Saturday.

The Dallas Stars drafted forward Wyatt Johnston with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft. Three years later, he's helped lead the Stars into the Western Conference Final for the third consecutive season.
