Daredevil: Born Again released its first trailer, confirming the return of Hector Ayala as the White Tiger with the tiger pendant.

Born Again is the name of a Daredevil comic book run that was largely celebrated for its gritty and cerebral storytelling. Speculations have run wild with regard to how much of that story is going to play into the narrative of the show, but Vincent D’Onofrio has come out with some details of the story. He said ( via EW ):

It’s a full gallery of characters on display, from a retired (temporarily) Matt Murdoch to a now-mayor, still-violent Kingpin. We also see the return of Foggy and Karen, who were originally cut, and maybe even killed offscreen, when the first draft of this show was written, and eventually thrown out. Thank god.
