It's time for her to trust her instincts, close her eyes, and leap...The Tony Awards are going green for their 78th annual celebration.On Wednesday, the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing announced that Wicked star Cynthia Erivo will serve as host for this year's June 8th ceremony.

Erivo has won a Grammy, Emmy and a Tony, as well as a Golden Globe, SAG Award and three Academy Award nominations. This season’s Tony Awards will take place on June 8 at its familiar home of Radio City Music Hall. They will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

Cynthia Erivo will host the 2025 Tony Awards on Sunday, June 8. 'I am so proud and excited to take on this glorious honor,' said the 'Wicked' actress. Ariana DeBose previously hosted the ceremony the past three years.
