The Houston Astros are eyeing Rays infielder Brandon Lowe as a potential trade deadline addition to boost their left-handed hitting.
According to The Athletic's Jim Bowden, while the Braves "are not looking to move on from" veteran second baseman Ozzie Albies, they will still "listen to inquiries" leading up to the July 31 trade deadline.
However, he has a track record of pitching well in the postseason, and that is something that could benefit a team such as the Astros. The veteran right-hander spent two years in Houston and even closed out the 2017 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, giving Houston their first ring.
