Denver's Nikola Jokic had a career-best 19 assists -- his 28th career game with at least 15 assists, the most by a non-guard in NBA history -- while adding 18 points and nine rebounds as the Nuggets defeated the Indiana Pacers 125-116 on Monday night.

The Nuggets showed out in Indiana, but superstar center Nikola Jokic was on another level. Jokic bolstered his MVP campaign with a historical performance. Jokic finished the game with 18 points, 19 assists,

Jokic set a career-high in assists with 19 as the Nuggets won for the 10th time in their last 11 games with a 125-116 victory over the Pacers. Asked if he still feels the same way about the joy of passing in relation to scoring, he said after the win, “Of course. It’s an easy question.” He was not aware of the new career record, however.
