The New Year’s Eve Times Square ball drop will feature a flashy new orb when the clock ticks down the final seconds to reach 2026.

When the ball drops on New Year’s Eve in New York City, it will sparkle in red, white and blue, ushering in 2026 and kicking off months of celebrations for the nation’s upcoming 250th birthday.

For the second drop, the Constellation Ball – the brand new, 12,350-pound, Waterford crystal and LED puck-covered Times Square Ball – will shift to red, white and blue, and will bear the number 250.
