Anchor John Dickerson said Monday that he would depart CBS News at the end of the year, the first sign of what is expected to be a major shake-up at the network under its new corporate owners.

John Dickerson, a veteran of CBS News and co-anchor of “CBS Evening News,” is leaving the network at the end of the year.
