The San Francisco Giants have landed a star via trade just moments before Sunday's rubber match against the Los Angeles Dodgers and have landed Red Sox star Rafael Devers, according to multiple reports.

In an in-game interview with ESPN, shortstop Willy Adames described finding out about the trade just 15 or 20 minutes before first pitch. Kyle Harrison — who was included in the trade — was initially slated to start for the Giants, so the pitching plans had to change on the fly. Sean Hjelle took over as the starter for the bullpen game.

Rafael Devers won't have to wait long to face his former team following his trade from the Boston Red Sox to the San Francisco Giants on Sunday.
