SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — It’s a first of its kind honor, a Savannah woman is taking on the role of queen of a tribe in Africa.

It’s a bizarre story involving a Texas woman that had been reported missing by her family. As it turns out, she was found living among a lost “African” tribe in none other than a Scottish forest.

Savannah native Janiqwa “Nqwamary” Nganga was given the rare honor of being named chief and queen of an African tribe.
