Trinity Rodman is staying in the National Women’s Soccer League. The US Women’s National Team star became the highest-paid women’s soccer player in the world Thursday as she signed a new contract with the Washington Spirit. According to ESPN’s Jeff Kassouf, the three-year deal is worth $2 million annually, “a world record.”

Ally Sentnor added a pair of goals and Reilyn Turner scored in her debut match for the United States. Emma Sears also scored. Turner, who plays professionally for the Portland Thorns, scored in first-half stoppage time on an assist from Thorns teammate Olivia Moultrie.
