President Donald Trump’s administration urged the Supreme Court on Tuesday to allow it to immediately deport a group of migrants currently being held on a US military base in Djibouti to South Sudan,

The high court majority did not detail its reasoning in the brief order, as is typical on its emergency docket. All three liberal justices dissented.

The ruling applies immediately to a group of men the government has sought to send to South Sudan.
