The Pittsburgh Steelers made several additions during the offseason. Most notably, they have a new star quarterback-wide receiver duo. Pittsburgh traded for wide receiver DK Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks back in March. After months of speculation, quarterback Aaron Rodgers joined the team ahead of mandatory minicamp in late June.
Aaron Rodgers signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, knowing they have studs in the form of JJ Watt, Cameron Heyward, DK Metcalf, and others. He knows that it takes experienced studs to win games, which is probably why he signed up to join them.
Davis adds a big veteran presence to the young wide receiver room and should immediately slot in as WR2 or WR3 alongside Metcalf and Austin. Davis experienced a down season due to recovering from a torn meniscus; he suffered in the 2024 season. He was then released by the Jaguars due to the team being worried about his recovery.
Aaron Rodgers will lead the offense for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2025 season. However, some have questioned whether the veteran quarterback can deliver for the franchise.
