Red Bull finished fourth with Max Verstappen in Miami, before lodging a protest against third-placed finisher George Russell. Verstappen lost track position to Russell due to the timing of a mid-race Virtual Safety Car which allowed Russell to pit and lose less time compared to the Dutch driver’s stop under normal race conditions.

George Russell has been allowed to keep his podium finish at the Miami Grand Prix following the dismissal of a post-race protest lodged by Red Bull Racing. The team had alleged that Russell violated yellow flag regulations during the race.
