Look no further than Iga Swiatek. Earlier this summer, the sky was falling for Swiatek. She failed to defend any of her clay court titles, sank in the WTA Rankings, and was fielding outlandish questions about possibly skipping the grass court season altogether (luckily, that did not happen).

Both Iga Swiatek and Carlos Alcaraz lifted the Cincinnati Masters title for the first time in their respective careers. Swiatek beat Jasmine Paolini in straight sets, but Alcaraz received a walkover from arch-rival Jannik Sinner as the first seed was ill.

With the 2025 US Open just around the corner, six-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek appears to be turning heads on and off the court. Roughly a month ago, Swiatek claimed her first title at Wimbledon.
