Friday, a storm system from the Gulf of Alaska will move in and bring snow ... and one to three inches in the mountains. This colder weather will continue throughout the weekend.

A storm rolling in from the Gulf of Alaska will bring rain to the Bay and maybe even some snow to portions of California.

Outside of some passing light snow showers, Western Alaska will retain fairly quiet weather for the next few days as well.
