A California sheriff's office shared photos of a bear that broke into an ice cream parlor and helped itself to some strawberry ice cream behind the counter.

The new store in Winnetka features a refreshed design that will serve as a blueprint for the Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy chain. It also marks something of a rebirth for the Chicago-area brand.

Deputies from the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office who were dispatched to an ice cream shop in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., on Sunday were greeted with a big surprise.
